You know, I looked at this for a good few minutes to try and decide if you were worth shutting down and the conclusion that I came to is that you’re an idiot who’s trying to either

A. provoke me or

B. start some kind of argument among shippers because I highly doubt that you haven’t gone to other people sending them messages like this.

So, I’m gonna give you the quick and dirty as to why you’re wrong.

Dean says he’s straight.

Sam has never said he was straight nor is it implied that he is.

Some of those links will lead you to tags, but I suggest you look through them. The total number of times Sam’s sexuality has been questioned and the examples provided are directly from canon without any skewing. His sexuality is not only not reaffirmed in any way but they suggest that Sam identifies differently than heterosexual whereas Dean has, on more than one occasion, claimed heterosexuality and no matter what your fanon interpretation is, heterosexuality is still a sexuality and it’s just as bad when you erase it or claim that someone is something when they’re not.

Also, that bond doesn’t mean shit to me.

He rescued Dean from hell and made a hand print on him, he’s bound to feel a little closer to Dean from that alone. However, if you recall Sam is the one always reaching out to Castiel, making sure he’s ok, talking to him about things he wouldn’t readily tell anyone else. Also, Sam and Cas have just as much subtext and potential as destiel, if not more.

So… get the fuck out of my ask box with your idiocy and stop being a whiny, petty little asshole?

Aside from all that, a bond can also exists between friends. No one ever said a bond can only be romantic.

Also, there’s the fact that he said more profound bond, which indicates he also feels a bond with Sam, just that the one he has with Dean has more shared experiences behind it. The bond isn’t unique to Cas and Dean.

These are great additions, thank you for pointing this out.

Sam and Cas are not shipped because they don’t have that profound bond! Dean and Cas are perfect for each other. Sastiel will never happen because it doesn’t make sense. No romantic chemistry at all.

Destiel may never become canon either, but they stand a better chance. i mean, come on, have you SEEN their chemistry?! Dean and Cas would be so good together. Sam and Cas is awkward as fuck, i’m sorry. and it’s gross.

and you must be delusional to think destiel has any better chance of happening than sastiel.

while dean winchester has stated IN canon that he is STRAIGHT, sam winchester has made no such claims. not only that, but sam even contemplated his and cas’s ship name in the 100th episode.

then there is the fact that dean treats cas like complete shit. like a stupid child who can’t be left alone in the kitchen. yet… sam has always treated castiel with nothing but patience and understanding. 

then there is the fact that sam and cas have more in common. they both enjoy the quieter things in life, they like learning, they have both rebelled against their families with the best of intentions. their good intentions have turned out horrendously and they both feel the need to constantly redeem themselves. they both feel out of place and tainted in some way.

now… i’m not saying sastiel will happen. 

i’m not an idiot. 

none of our fictional ships are going to happen in canon. none of them. i’m just saying that there is no reason for you to comment on a sastiel positive post and shit all over it with your pile of destiew crap… because it has exactly ZERO chance of ever happening.
